PAIN TRANSMUTED INTO HOPE; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

It was dawn on November 7, 1981 in Goiânia when the small plane took off in the direction of Alto Paraíso, northeast region of the state. Among the three crew members, one, Ary Ribeiro Valadão Filho, supervised the Rio Formoso Project focused on the development of the region. In the middle of the way, an accident would interrupt the flight plan, causing the aircraft to fall, followed by an explosion and fire that would determine the 30-year-old engineer's death six days later. Once the survivors were removed to the capital's Hospital, the evolution of the situation they were in caught the attention of the population of the State, which anguished followed the news bulletins that updated medical information. Ary was the son of the then acting Governor, who, along with the other family members, lived through distressing moments until the young man died. Experiencing the indescribable pain of losing a loved one, their mother and two sisters, four months later,Chico Xavier , through his extraordinary mediumship, became a kind of post office from the beyond, bringing letters from those who had left before. The trip was compensated for by the psychography through the medium of one of the longest and most moving messages in the extensive collection resulting from the work of Chico Xavier . Starting his communication, he begs his mother's blessing, thanks the sisters by name, says that " nothing separated them, being united in faith in God", recognizing himself in difficulty to write the letter, saying that he was helped by Uncle Natalino , for " not have enough experience to dress a person's hand as if he were wearing a glove”. He relives scenes from the sinister, saying that “Moments like those of last November 7 are indescribable in their details. I know that Mauro decided to land; naturally given his experience, I didn't think of any consideration for a companion, whose competence I got used to respecting. The result, however, is that the narrowness of the field did not allow us to maneuver capable of promoting broader measures than those we assumed inside the machine. The collision with the tree was violent, in view of the understandable speed. And the rest is what they know, perhaps more than I do, because, in trying to free the two comrades who were finding it difficult to get rid of the impediments at the time, the explosion attacked us all”. Referring to later events, he says thatThe thoughts of the end for my body had not yet come to my mind. However, when I saw the conditions of the companions, especially Mauro, I was afraid that a mirror could tell me what was happening. Recalling his last moments, he says: -“I freed myself, little by little, from that intimate toxemia that was afflicting me considerably. In prayers, in silence, I waited until I felt soft hands caressing my head and I slept... A heavy sleep, whose images of possible dreams I don't remember. I just slept. I woke up, however, overwhelmed, as if I was under the uncomfortable presence of many people, despite my spirit of gratitude for whoever was there to visit me. I was only surprised to find myself outside the room and, yes, in the middle of the living room; I was in the condition of a semi-anesthetized person under the inability to control myself in terms of movement and direction... I couldn't speak. However, he issued mental cries for help. A friendly-faced stranger extended his arms and invited me to leave, saying that he was in charge of leading me to a new treatment. I accepted without hesitation, the support he extended to me, since he did not allow me to walk; still, although accepting his support, holding one of his shoulders, I felt relieved, lighter... I believed that I was ahead of positive improvements. Guided by my friend, I found a mixed plane of Bonanza and helicopter, with the appearance of a large butterfly, where a man and a woman, who I admitted were my new nurses, were waiting for me. They received me with great care and affection, recommending that I should not be afraid. The stranger took the direction and we left, vertically, like a helicopter, unknown to me, and as we climbed, I breathed in long breaths, the very light and pure air from above. dawn. I recognized that we were heading for Anicuns still, although accepting his support, holding one of his shoulders, I felt relieved, lighter... Our Telinha sent us the following question: “Is the transsexual considered wrong? How does Spiritism see this? Even if he has a dignified life with a partner or with a partner?

Lately, we have dealt several times with this issue, which is still not so well known, requiring further studies. Transsexuality, in broad terms, means the condition of the person who, having a man's body, feels like a woman and is attracted to a man, or, having a female body, feels like a man, attracted to a woman. From the spiritist point of view, it is an incarnation in which there was a psychic inversion, in terms of sexuality, of the spirit in relation to the body.

Following the incarnations of the Spirit, this dystonia can happen and, whatever the causes that determined it, if this condition really exists (since, generally, it manifests itself since childhood), it is because it is in your roadmap for the evolution of that Spirit and , therefore, it needs to be respected and seen naturally. However, human society, in general, has not yet managed to assimilate this situation without prejudice.

As sex, from the psychic point of view, is a natural and therefore instinctive force, it will manifest itself in the individual during his development, from childhood, but the way he will incorporate it and use it in his life, it will depend on him, his needs and his vision of life. Certainly, in the case of transsexuals, there are always conflicts with the family, pressures from society, so the fact of having a partner will depend on how he will behave towards everyone and himself.

The conception that the transsexual is depraved belongs to society, which has been behaving like this over time, without understanding precisely what it is about. Spiritism only guides us towards the practice of goodness and the experience of love, but each one decides the best way to behave within these principles. Depravity can be both in the transsexual and in the heterosexual, as it is in the person's life and in the values that he cultivates before the collectivity.

ABOUT ALIENS; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

Four questions and answers are enough to demonstrate the boldness of the teacher hidden under the pseudonym Allan Kardec when dealing with the issue of the plurality of inhabited worlds, at a time when the subject was not among those of greatest interest to human society rooted in 20th century Europe. 19 - Add to that the courage to publish the answers of the Spirits on the subject, stating that “ all the globes that circulate in space are inhabited, and the earthly man is far from being, as the first believes in intelligence, kindness and perfection; that the physical constitution of the different globes do not resemble each other; that the bodily organization of the beings that inhabit them are different, just as among us fish are made to live in water and birds in the air” .By the way , Allan Kardec had paid special attention to the issue by evoking and interviewing at meetings of the Spiritist Society of Paris , in his first and second years, the composer Mozart , based on information from an 18th century painter named Bernard Palissy , supposedly an inhabitant of the planet Jupiter. , an artist who, by the way, used the playwright and medium Victorien Sardou, a layman in painting or drawing, to compose more than ten engravings giving an idea of the vegetation, dwellings and landscapes of that Globe, including the house of the famous classical composer. Kardec also interviewed the great researcher Alexandre Von Humbold, just ten days after his death, in Berlin, which surprised him by revealing that he had been chosen among several candidates to incarnate on Earth in order to contribute to the planet's climate research and inhabit a sphere still unknown by our astronomy. The world moved towards synthesis and, at the end of the 20th century, information came to represent power, especially with the advent of the Internet. Data that could hardly be included in encyclopedias or be in a single library in any country in the world are now easily found. Let's see some curious reports in the literature of ancient civilizations:   INDIA – MAABARATA – Book I, cap 4 – “ Dazzling celestial chariots in great numbers crossed the cloudless sky ”/ Book VIII, cap 8 – “ Devas in their chariots on clouds and gandharvas in the sky They looked down with mute amazement at the human chiefs ”.  EGYPT – BOOK OF THE DEAD – Chapters 124,17 – “ I speak with the adepts of the Gods. I talk to Disco. I speak with the bright Beings ”. /Chapter 78.14 – “ I am one of those bright Beings that live in rays of light ”. BABYLON – CLAY CYLINDERS found in the library of Nineveh – “King Etan, who lived about 5,000 years ago, was taken as an honored guest in a shield-shaped flying ship, which landed in a square behind the royal palace, swirling surrounded by a vortex of flames(...). In the midst of a whirlwind of flame and smoke, it soared so high that the Earth, with its seas, islands, continents, looked like “a loaf of bread in a basket”; then disappeared from view .” JAPAN – “ In 9 BC, on February 10 , 9 suns appeared in the sky which caused much chaos on Earth and the Yamato Dynasty which was thrown into great confusion. It was in the tenth year of Emperor Suinin. There were 9 suns, or solar disks, as the ancients called them, they were flying saucers . ” / In 638 AD -On the 26th of the first month of spring, a long star appeared in the northwest. Priest Bin said it was a broom star .” / On August 11, 671 AD – “ A flaming object was seen flying north from many countries in Japan ”. In Current Civilization, in 1968, the German journalist Erich Von Daniken surprised the world with the result of a research bundled into a book that became a bestseller for several months: WERE THE GODS ASTRONAUTS? Theorizes about the possibility of ancient terrestrial civilizations being the result of the crossing of alien extraterrestrials - who would have moved here - and primate species creating the human species .And, most importantly: it presents visual and graphic evidence of its thesis, citing, for example, inscriptions present in Egyptian and Mayan pyramids; the Nazca lines, in Peru, among countless others. Although Governments and their Armed Forces have denied for years that they have evidence of the presence on Earth of supposed extraterrestrial ships, the behavior has been changing in recent times. The most recent case was that NASA - American Space Agency itself assumed that recently during maintenance operation of the ISS Station, an extraterrestrial spacecraft was spotted by its lens. For enthusiasts, we suggest the following link, sent to us by our friend Fabio Marabello : http://datalimite.com/nasa-pare-estar-preparando-astronautas-para-se-comunicar-com-alienigenas/

THE TRUE SENSE; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

Undoubtedly the main means of spreading Spiritism has become a point of reference and convergence for those who are surprised by setbacks with which they could not imagine. In the superficiality of their evaluations, they conclude that the spiritist practice is a mere instrument of rebalancing through the passes or other treatments offered in the Spiritist Centers, they suppose a meeting point between material and immaterial reality, the tangible and the intangible. A means where you can find healing or the way forward through the guidance of Spiritual Friends or Mentors as they say. Is it just that? This will only be the purpose of the Spiritist Doctrine. In a text presented in the November 1864 edition of REVISTA ESPÍRITA, Allan Kardecclarifies this doubt. He writes:-“Spiritism is not an individual conception, a product of the imagination; it is not a theory, a system invented for the necessity of a cause. It has its source in the facts of nature itself, in positive facts, which are produced in our eyes and at every moment, but whose origin was not suspected. It is, therefore, the result of observation, in a word, a science: the science of the relations between the visible and invisible worlds; still imperfect science, but which is daily completed by new studies and which, he is sure, will take a position alongside the positive sciences. I say positive, because any science that rests on facts is a positive science, not merely speculative. Spiritism did not invent anything, because what is in Nature is not invented. Newton did not invent the Law of Gravitation: this Universal Law existed before him; each one applied it and felt its effects, even if they didn't know it. In turn, Spiritism comes to show a new Law, a new force of nature: the one that resides in the action of the Spirit on matter, a law as Universal as that of gravitation and electricity, yet still unknown and denied by certain people, such as so were other Laws at the time of their discovery. It is because men generally find it difficult to renounce their preconceived ideas and, for self-love, it is difficult for them to agree that they were wrong, or that others could find what they themselves did not find. But since, in the end, this Law rests on facts and against the facts there is no denial that can prevail, they will have to surrender to the evidence, as the most recalcitrant had to do with regard to the movement of the Earth, to the formation of the Globe and the effects of steam. As much as they call the phenomena ridiculous, they cannot prevent the existence of what is. Thus, Spiritism sought to explain phenomena of a certain order and which, at all times, occurred spontaneously. But what, above all, favored him in these researches, is that he was given the power to produce and provoke them, to a certain extent. He found in mediums suitable instruments for such an effect, as the physicist found in the battery and in the electric machine the means of reproducing the effects of lightning. It is understood that this is a comparison and not an analogy. There is here a consideration of great importance: it is that, in his researches, he did not proceed by way of hypotheses, as he is accused; he did not suppose the existence of the Spiritual World, in order to explain the phenomena he had in view; proceeded through analysis and observation; from the facts he went back to the cause and the spiritual element appeared as an active force; she only proclaimed it after she had seen it. As a force and as a Law of Nature, the action of the spiritual element thus opens new horizons for science, giving it the key to a number of misunderstood problems. But if the discovery of purely material Laws produced material revolutions in the world, the discovery of the spiritual element in it prepares a moral revolution, because it totally changes the course of ideas and of the most deeply rooted beliefs; it shows life in another aspect; kills superstition and fanaticism; it develops thought and man, instead of dragging himself along in matter, of circumscribing his life between birth and death, rises into the Infinite; he knows where he comes from and where he is going; sees a purpose for his work, for their efforts, a reason for being for the Good; he knows that nothing he acquires here in knowledge and morality is lost to him, and that his progress continues indefinitely beyond the grave; he knows that there is always a future for him, whatever the insufficiency and brevity of the present existence, while the materialist idea, limiting life to present existence, gives him nothingness as a perspective, which does not even have as compensation the duration, which no one can increase at will, since we can fall tomorrow, in an hour, and then the fruit of our labors, of our vigils, of the acquired knowledge will be lost to us forever, often without having had time to enjoy. I repeat, demonstrating Spiritism, not by hypothesis, but by facts, the existence of the Invisible World and the future that awaits us, completely changes the course of ideas; it gives man moral strength, courage and resignation, because he no longer works only for the present, but for the future; he knows that if he doesn't come today, he will come tomorrow.”

EM BUSCA DA VERDADE COM O

 PROFESSOR JOSÉ BENEVIDES

 CAVALCANTE

I would like to know why there is so much evil in the world. Why are there people who take pleasure in harming and even killing their fellow man? How can we be good in the midst of lies, violence and misery? (Question from Adriana Regina)

Without a broader and deeper vision of life, Adriana, without the certainty of the immortality of the soul and reincarnation, it is not possible to answer your question. If life were the only one we are living (here and now) and there was nothing else after it, it would make no sense to live in a world where there are good and bad, with the good being the main victims. Considering this, everything would happen by chance: the good would be good because they are born good, the bad because they are born bad, and life would be the result of this uncertain coexistence, where the luckier would have the most advantage. Then it would all be over.

But that's not how we think. The most important thing for us intelligent beings is what we think of as life. Kardec speaks in O EVANGELHO ACCORDING TO SPIRITISM”, in the item entitled “O Ponto de Vista”. Try to study this chapter. From the materialistic point of view, Adriana, everything begins and everything ends here on Earth: whoever was happy, lucky for him; who didn't go, bad luck. This would mean that life is a matter of luck or misfortune, and that nature plays a big trick on us, deceiving everyone. In this case, it would give us the intelligence to try to understand the meaning of life, but, at the same time, it crushes us with the prospect of nothingness or our destruction.

Spiritism, however, points us to a promising future, saying more: that we are immortal, we already lived before this existence, we are living today and we will live later. The Spirit was created by God simple and ignorant and everyone marches in search of perfection, which is their happiness, their complete fulfillment, each one opening his own path with greater or lesser difficulty. As it is an evolutionary process – that is, one of constant improvement – we acquire our own individuality, and each of us walks at our own pace.

It is from this that individual differences arise over the course of incarnations. There are Spirits that are still in a little advanced stage of evolution, while others are far ahead. Here, on Earth, we are Spirits passing through a certain evolutionary range, but there are other worlds – some later and others more advanced than ours. On our planet, due to the stage of spiritual progress of its inhabitants, we still see great differences in the moral aspect between individuals, which makes you say that there are evil people in the world.

What we call evil, Adriana – that is, predisposition to harm others and make them suffer – is a condition of certain Spirits, who are in this world to learn from the good ones they live with, just as good and bad students live together in a school. But they, whom we call evil, are also our brothers, as loved by God (who is the Father) as each one of us, precisely because they lack spirituality, have not developed enough the feeling to experience the happiness that the peace of spirit provides.

The coming of Jesus to Earth, two thousand years ago, showed this well. Jesus, a Pure Spirit, had a divine mission in this world. He came to demonstrate that the way to human happiness lies in the practice of good (what he called love of neighbor) and that the bad (that is, those who have not yet managed to understand the effects of love) are ignorant and therefore do not know What are you doing. Jesus represented the supreme good and they, his executioners, the supreme evil.

The concern to follow the path of good, Adriana, is already very pronounced on our planet. This means that we have already taken significant steps in understanding the brotherhood that Jesus taught. But, in general, we still haven't managed to overcome the evil that exists in each of us (because we still have a lot of selfishness and pride). Even so, we are living with Spirits even more backward than most people on this planet, and whose presence on Earth, for them, is another opportunity to discover that love is the path to happiness. Evidently, we have a role to help everyone, starting with the education of children, who are new spirits who come to be educated.

Jesus is more concerned with what the good can do to help the bad to rise. Because of the absence or omission of the good, the Spirits, still dominated by instincts, are revolted and aggressive, almost always unwelcome in this world, where they reincarnated to learn. How many of these Spirits were reborn in an environment of violence and abandonment! As their needs are not being met – and in the face of so much ignorance and so much misery that exists in the world – they are even more angry, and the consequence of all this is a society with fear, cornered and insecure.

SURREAL VERY REAL; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

Although literature and cinema have only recently discovered the commercial success that the exploration of dimensions or parallel universes represents , the truth is that descriptions of a reality that walks and interacts with our own was already treated and popularized in the 1940s through mediumship. by Chico Xavier , especially in the books received from the Spirit known as André Luiz . The most fascinating thing is the richness of detail with which screenwriters currently create scenes, sets and sequences like in MATRIX, INTERSTELLAR. Or recreate? They could easily be framed in the possibility raised by Allan Kardec in one of his texts where he says that “as the spirits cannot sustain the penalty without an intermediary, they have it supported by someone called a medium, whom they inspire and direct. Sometimes this medium acts without knowledge of the cause: he is a medium properly speaking; other times it acts unconsciously of the cause that requests it: this is the case of all inspired men, who are thus mediums without knowing it”.  We could consider such images to be reminiscences of incursions into the Spiritual Plane made possible by the natural unfolding of sleep. Studies possible to anyone interested today, demonstrate that the Celts centuries before the Master Jesus spoke of the “ many mansions of our Father's house” ; by the poet Dante Aliguieritake us to the landscapes of the Divine Comedy; of the genius Emmanuel Swedenborg, to offer the works derived from his visions of the Existential Planes adjacent to ours; by Allan Kardec to reproduce in question 85 of ' O LIVRO DOS ESPÍRITS ' , that between the 'Material and Spiritual Worlds, the second is the most important, because, there, everything that exists here originates and continues '; of the Reverend Dale Owen offering the details of LIFE BEYOND THE VEIL ; and, from the Spirit Maria João de Deus with her LETTERS FROM A DEAD (1935, lake), life after death was already seen as a natural and real fact. Chico Xavier, by the way, before the Superstring Theory was formulated, he said naturally in an interview that the “plane we live on is nothing more than an extension of the Spiritual ”. In the book LIBERTAÇÃO (1957, feb), chapter 4, for example, we are taken to know   “a strange city, located in a 'vast domain of shadows', gray sky, vegetation showing a sinister aspect, ominous birds, of great size, resembling themselves to small winged monsters, spying on hidden prey .” Inquiring from the Instructor Gubio who accompanied him, “ why God allows such absurdity ”, it is reported that “for the same educational reasons through which it does not annihilate a human nation when, maddened by the thirst for domination, it unleashes bloody and destructive wars, but surrenders to the expiation of its own crimes and to the misfortune of itself, so that it learns to integrate itself in the order eternal that presides over universal life. From period to period, each counted for several centuries, the matter used by similar intelligences is revolved and restructured, as happens in earthly circles ”, finally registering that “ the cursed geniuses, the demons of all times are ourselves. when we unrepentantly deviate from the Law ” . Already in the book, WORKERS OF ETERNAL LIFE (1947; feb), describing his participation in an excursion through a dark region beyond the magnetic limits covered by an itinerant institution called Casa Transitória Fabiano de Cristo , André Luiz confesses that “ in other circumstances and at another time, he would not have been able to master the dread that infused the landscape dark and mysterious (...). Strange sounds roamed in space. He could perfectly hear the screams of wild beings and, in the midst of them, painful human groans, emitted, perhaps, from an immense distance. Birds of monstrous configuration, blacker than the night, from far and far away from our path, frightened. And though the shadow was thick, it observed something of the infinite desolation of the surroundings.”. After reaching a swampy area, where low vegetation stands out, where withered herbs and sad bushes appeared indistinctly from the ground, André kept the clear impression that voices came from people mired in repellent substances, not containing the question whether human souls lay there, “ triggered unexpected reactions such as the transformation of indiscriminate wailing into touching pleas, at the same time as animalistic and crawling figures, resembling saurians of enormous proportions, advanced towards the caravan, leaving the deepest part of the pond, in large numbers, giving to astonish the most intrepid spirit .” He adds that“tiny devices, emitting electric shock beams, through insignificant explosions, which, despite being of weak detonation, revealed vigorous power, causing the monstrous attackers to retreat, precipitous, retreating to the swamp, in a spectacular fall on the thick mud” .

Parents are losing control of their children. They were also not well educated and therefore have difficulty educating. Drugs and materialism have taken over everything. What to do?

Difficult question to answer. We believe that there is no ready and definitive answer for all cases and for all parents. What exists are paths, choices that conscious parents can make while there is still time. We say “conscious parents” because not all mothers and not all fathers have understood the important mission that God has delegated to them in this life. When we separate God from our lives, everything is valid, even the evil we can do.

In Spiritist Doctrine, the understanding of what the mission of parents is is very broad, because we do not consider only this existence. Children are not created exclusively for these parents in this life, nor do they present themselves to the world as a blank slate where everything is yet to be written. No, children are spirits already lived with virtues and defects, and with whom these parents today have made a commitment. Their main role in relation to these children is to educate them or, better still, to re-educate them spiritually based on the tendencies they show.

It is up to these parents to receive them with love and devotion, to perceive the tendencies they bring from a past incarnation, to seek to perceive them in their intimacy, in an attempt to boost their moral evolution. We speak of moral evolution, because intellectual evolution is relatively easy; the difficult thing is to direct the children in the path of good.

Within our cultural milieu, parents, teachers, schools are generally very interested in the technical, artistic and professional training of the new generations so that they become important people in society and, in the vulgar saying, “to succeed in life”. But they forget that, for life, we first need to think about the formation of the good man, the person of character who, above all, is aware that he is a citizen of the world, contributing his share of effort to the common good.

It is a big mistake for many parents to expect their children's character to be formed, far from humanistic concepts, spiritual or even religious values. Parents educate themselves along with their children. It is impossible to educate without educating yourself. If they want to form good men, they necessarily need to follow this same path, setting the example in which their children should look up. Parents do not have an obligation to be perfect, but they do have a moral obligation to strive for it.

In a lecture, psychologist Rossandro Klinjei referred to a survey carried out in 22 countries with the objective of identifying the causes that lead medical students, already in their mid-course, to become dependent on drugs or alcohol. At a certain point in the studies, the researchers wanted to know why many academics do not use drugs or alcohol, what factors would have contributed to them, despite the insistence of the environment and colleagues, to avoid this behavior.

So, they started to name the factors and found that the behavior of not using drugs had nothing to do with the countries where they lived, it had nothing to do with the social classes to which they belonged, it had nothing to do with the religion of the family. The only common point between them is that, around the age of 6, these students participated in religious activities together with their parents. In a way, this explains why Chico Xavier always said: “don't forget to teach God to your children” – and teaching is not just talking, it's participating with them.

Today, especially in this electronic age, when even children are fascinated by smartphones and other electronic devices, parents themselves need to seek their children in personal relationships, where they can enjoy living together. However, if possible, if you have a religion, do not forget to be accompanied by your children in their religious activities.

REINCARNATION; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

Some people dispute the doctrine of reincarnation, as contrary to the dogmas of the Church, concluding that it does not exist. What can you answer? The answer, certainly sought after by many, can be found in the issue of December 1862 , in which Allan Kardec includes an interesting comment resulting from a letter received from the friend of a French socialist from the first part of the 19th century, disincarnated in 1837, François Marie Charles Fourier , and that he had elaborated a theory that, according to the writer, he had also found in the Spiritist Doctrine. In his letter summarizing some of the main points of Fourier 's vision , the sender also comments that he had found the same vision in a booklet prepared by the editor of the newspaperSiècle , Mr Louis Jordan first published in 1849 before, therefore, that Spiritism was considered, revealing a perfect intuition of this law of nature so forgotten until the emergence of Spiritism. Wrote Kardec:-"The answer is very simple. Reincarnation is not a system that is up to men to adopt or not, as is done with a political system; it is a law inherent in Humanity, like eating, drinking and sleeping; an alternative of the life of the soul as waking and sleep are alternatives of the life of the body. If it is a law of nature, it is not a contrary opinion that can be prevented from being. The Earth does not revolve around the Sun because it is believed, but because it obeys a law; and the anathemas that were hurled against this law did not prevent the earth from turning. So, like reincarnation: it will not be the opinion of some men that will prevent them from being reborn, if they have to be reborn. Admitting that reincarnation is a law of nature, let us suppose that it cannot accommodate itself to a dogma: it is a question of knowing whether reason is with dogma or with the law. Now, who is the author of the law of nature but God? In this case, I will say that it is not the law that contradicts the dogma, but the dogma that contradicts the law, since any law of nature is prior to dogma and men were reborn before dogma was established. If there were absolute incompatibility between a dogma and a law of nature, this would be proof that dogma is the work of men, who did not know the law, for God cannot contradict himself, undoing on one side what he made on the other. To sustain this incompatibility is, therefore, to carry out the process of dogma. Does it follow that the dogma is false? No, but only that it is susceptible of interpretation, as Genesis was interpreted, when it was recognized that the six days of Creation did not conform to the law of the formation of the Globe. Religion will gain from this, as there will be fewer unbelievers. The question is whether or not reincarnation exists. For spiritualists there are thousands of proofs against one that it is useless to repeat. I will just say that Spiritism demonstrates that the plurality of existences is not only possible, but necessary, indispensable; and he finds his proof, not to mention the revelation of the Spirits, in an incalculable multitude of moral, psychological and anthropological phenomena. Such phenomena areeffects that have a cause . Searching for the cause, we find it in reincarnation, made evident by the observation of those phenomena, as the presence of the Sun, although hidden by clouds, is made evident by the light of day. In order to prove that it is wrong, or that it does not exist, it would be necessary to better explain, by other means, everything that he explains that no one has yet done. Before the discovery of the properties of electricity, if someone had announced that it could correspond to five hundred kilometers in five minutes, there would have been no shortage of scientists who scientifically proved to him, by the laws of mechanics, that the thing was materially impossible, because they didn't know any other laws. For that there was a need for the revelation of a new force. So with reincarnation. It's a new law, which will shed light on a lot of obscure issues and will profoundly change all ideas when it's recognized. So it is not the opinion of some men that proves the existence of the law: it is the facts. If we invoke his testimony, it is to demonstrate that he had been interviewed and suspected by others, before Spiritism, which is not its inventor, but developed it and deduced its consequences”.

Question from our friend from Vera Cruz, Cristiano: “What teaching did Jesus leave us when, after his death, he first appeared in the perispirit to Mary Magdalene?”

This question is important, Cristiano, for several reasons. First, because it was because of his appearances after his death that the news spread that he had been resurrected. But, in fact, Jesus appeared with his spiritual body (what in Spiritism we call perispirit) and not with his physical body. But the idea of the resurrection of the body that prevailed in the midst of that people, was inherited from the Persian religion that, at least two centuries ago, preached the resurrection, but only in the final judgment.

Jesus, on the other hand, returned in spirit (that is, with his perispirit) to confirm what he had taught, that is, that life continues and that, therefore, everything he taught was valid, since the Spirit is immortal and the true rewards are not in this life. The gospel tells that it was to Mary Magdalene and other women that he first showed himself, certainly with the idea that they would be in charge of spreading the news to their disciples and followers, as in fact happened.

The women had gone to visit the tomb. Arriving there, they realized that the body had been removed, but there was a man who they mistook for the gardener. The man spoke to them and, to his astonishment, he identified himself as Jesus. Now, even they did not recognize him, except because he said so himself. Allan Kardec considers that it is common for the Spirit not to be recognized immediately in case of materialization, because of some differences in the perispirit. In fact, on other occasions, as a Spirit, he was not recognized even by the disciples, except when he announced himself.

However, the fact that it first appeared to women does not fail to call attention to these two points: first, because they would publicize their return and survival and, secondly, because Jesus had given a very special value to the woman who, in that people, was very discriminated against. Later, with the advancement of the Christian movement, women would stand out even more, making Christianity the religion of antiquity that most attracted the female audience.

BEYOND WHAT YOU THINK; IN SEARCH OF THE TRUTH WITH THE TEACHER

News published by the press recently reports that about one million abortions, on average, are estimated per year in Brazil. Because it is an illegal practice provided for in an article of the Penal Code of 1940, it ends up resulting in the arrest of those who practice it, whether for economic or behavioral reasons. Spiritism demonstrates through countless reports that the issue of abortion is not just a moral, religious, political or social problem. It is the genesis of numerous disorders of the reproductive system, as well as mental complications with repercussions on the physical body, in the current life or in others. The repercussions on the spiritual body or perispirit are inevitable, with ramifications in other physical lives. Reincarnations obey programs to be fulfilled by the creature in its evolutionary path and what interrupts a life that was predicted to materialize in our Dimension, frustrates projects involving the victim of parricide legalized or not by the penal codes of Earth's societies and civilizations . As nothing is by chance, Allan Kardec reveals in O LIVRO DOS ESPÍRITS that “the Spirit is often reborn in the same environment in which it lived, and is in relationship with the same people, in order to repair the harm it has done to them”.  In an article published almost a decade after his death in OBRAS POSTUMAS ,confirms the first information saying that the Being “ often is reborn in the same family, or at least the members of the same family are reborn together to constitute a new one, in another social position, in order to strengthen their bonds of affection, or to repair their reciprocal mistakes. For considerations of a more general nature, one is often reborn in the same environment, nation, race, either out of sympathy or to continue studies that they have done, to improve, to continue work begun that circumstances or the brevity of life did not allow to finish ” .  In the book MISSIONÁRIOS DA LUZ (1945, Feb), the author gives us the following information from Instructor Alexandre , the central character of the narrative: -“Abortion very rarely occurs following causes within our sphere of action. As a general rule, it originates from the unexpected retreat of earthly fathers, faced with the sacred obligations assumed or the excesses of levity and criminal unconsciousness of mothers, less prepared in the responsibility and understanding for this ministry. Even there, we do everything, in our turn, to oppose them to the projects of escape from duty.(...). If interested parties, backsliding in spiritual decisions, systematically persevere against us, we are compelled to leave them to their own devices. Hence, the reason why there are many human couples, absolutely without the crown of children, since they annulled their own generative faculties. When they do not act in this way in the present, thirsting for selfish satisfaction, they would act in the same way in the past, determining serious anomalies in the psychic organization that is peculiar to them. In the latter case, they experience painful periods of loneliness and emotional thirst, until they worthily rebuild the heritage of veneration that we all owe to the laws of God”.The advisor Emmanuel, through the medium Chico Xavier, considers that the practice of abortion “distances from those who deliberate for it the resources of rehabilitation and happiness that would later illuminate their paths, whether preventing the reincarnation of friendly spirits that would guarantee them security and comfort or preventing the rebirth of old enemies, with whom they could acquire their own tranquility by settling old accounts ”. He further states that “some diseases of obscure formation or premature disincarnation through, for example, cancer, are a possible consequence of such an action, in addition to distressing processes of obsession ”. How much“those who cooperate in the crimes of abortion, be they parents as well as the professionals who favor it, come to suffer the results of the cruelty they practice, bringing the suffering and despair of the victims themselves on their own heads, relegated by them to mishaps and shadows. of spiritual life in lower spheres ”. Many may view such comments as a moralistic threat trying to scare away those who advocate such a practice. We suggest, however, a review of their views on what life means based on what the Spiritist Doctrine demonstrates. (1-) Simply a passage of a few decades in the human body; (2-) in a Dimension in which we seek to rehabilitate ourselves before Laws that are inducing our spiritual progress; (3-)on a Planet to which we will not remain eternally bound; (4-) together with other beings that we have known for a long time and (5-) before whom we make commitments that we are trying to rescue through often difficult coexistence. Interrupting the result of a process as laborious as that of pregnancy represents a long delay in our evolutionary progress.

Question proposed by Cristiano, from the city of Vera Cruz. How does the Spiritist Doctrine refute the argument of skeptics and atheists, who claim that the Spiritist Doctrine is a pseudoscience?

First of all, we want to clarify the terms used by Cristiano. Atheist is one who does not believe in the existence of God and is convinced of it. For him, this question of God is a fait accompli, for him there is not the slightest possibility that a Supreme Being, creator of the Universe, can exist and, therefore, for the atheist, the universe and everything that happens in it is a product of chance. .

On the other hand, who is the skeptic? the skeptic is more cautious than the atheist; he will only believe in God if one day the existence of God is definitively proven to him. But being skeptical doesn't give you absolute certainty about anything - neither that God exists nor that God does not exist. The skeptic, in fact, is a stubborn questioner.

The genuine atheist already has an established position which, for us, is not at all scientific, because science never has the last word. Being intransigent is unscientific. Since the first men who did science, in the search for causes and explanations for natural facts, scientific truths have been changing. For example, the latest discoveries in Physics that took place at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century caused a real revolution in the knowledge that Physics had discovered in the last 300 years.

Who is an atheist, mainly – but also the skeptic, considering that there are several positions among the skeptics – cannot agree with the spiritist truths and will always say that Spiritism is a false science. However, Allan Kardec's stance in his works is clear. Skeptics and atheists already existed in his time. Spiritism, as a doctrine, which encompasses a vast area of knowledge – science, philosophy and morals at the same time – cannot simply be science. Science is one of its aspects.

Even so, spirit science is not like Physics, Chemistry or Biology, which have as their object the study of phenomena circumscribed to matter. Spiritism studies phenomena of a different nature, which take place on a much broader and deeper level, which is the spirit. Therefore, the objects of Spiritism and conventional sciences are different, as the methodologies used must be different, because what serves to encompass material facts does not serve to detect what is happening in the field of the spirit.

For Spiritism, all sciences are respectable, because they are necessary to unravel the causes and mechanisms of the material world. In fact, it is from them that man, understanding how the phenomena of nature occur, can gradually penetrate the knowledge of the spiritual world, which is naturally different from the physical world. Therefore, Spiritism must walk alongside science, and a day will come when science will awaken to the spiritual reality, making use of Spiritism.

In fact, since the dawn of science, scientists believed in God, but saw the spiritual issue as something unattainable or beyond the reach of their research, as was the case with Newton and Galileo. Modernly, already in the century of Kardec, several scholars of the natural sciences – such as Alfred Russell Wallace,. Williams Crookes, Cesar Lombroso, Charles Richet and others – developed research into spiritist phenomena, but were ignored by the conservative wings that hold power within the scientific community.

- In this way, only the centuries will tell where science will arrive and what kind of action Spiritist science will have in relation to new discoveries. Apparently, the most advanced field in this sense is Physics, which, in recent times, has been realizing that knowledge of matter will lead us to more philosophical than scientific conceptions, corroborating what the Spirits told Kardec about matter and spirits in the Chapter II of THE BOOK OF SPIRITS.

We believe, Cristiano, that it is still early (perhaps too early) for human beings to penetrate deeper into the knowledge of the true nature of the universe and, in particular, of the true nature of man as a spiritual being. Of course, the advances that human science will make in this direction will depend very much on the moral progress of the Earth's population. Humanity, as a whole, is not yet morally prepared to assimilate certain truths
